Join Thames21 at the Gallions Park Picnic

Thames21 are attending the Gallions Park Picnic in Thamesmead! Come along to chat with us, learn about lakes and wetlands, take part in water sampling sessions, and enjoy the day. Everyone is welcome!

On the day with Thames21:

🌿 Information Stand – Learn about the recently installed wetlands at Gallions Lake. Discover how they are helping to improve water quality and increase biodiversity on the lake.

🧪 Water Sampling Sessions – Use state-of-the-art Hanna Checkers to assess the quality of Gallions Lake’s water. Discover the science behind water testing and learn how to interpret results like a pro!

📣 Q&A at 2:30pm – Listen out for interesting facts about the lake and why wetlands are so important for protecting against pollution.

All equipment will be provided, please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
